    This story originated as a reply to my good buddy Comicality. As a matter of fact the final two paragraphs are almost exactly what I wrote him in February 1999. With his help and IOMfAtS (as well as a handful of other ICQ chats) it finally became the teaser start of a series. While it is fiction there really was a "Mark" and a great deal of the story is a jumble of old memories from 18 years ago. Did it really happen? Yep! Not exactly as written. Hey, this is fiction! There's always some happy ending. Don't you wish life was like that more?

    Around this time I realized that because this story does tell of two 19 year olds and I wanted to join the Teen Gay Boy Love stories Webring, I decided to end this story at my 20th birthday. Don't worry there will be more but there is an end in site. It will take at least 6 more chapters to get there.

    Everyone's getting away for the weekend (except the author!). In real life Mark and I were together on that day that Dr. Koop made his television announcement about the then so called "gay cancer". Obviously it was not a fun day.
