"Parliament of Dreams" picks up just after "Goblet of Fire" (Book 4 in the Harry Potter Series) and focuses on Harry's fifth year at Hogwarts. The immensely popular Harry Potter series has many, many Fan Fic stories, and Myr's work, "Parliament of Dreams" is one of the best I've read. I can't go into the plot as I would spoil some really neat revelations, but, alas (as Dumbledore so often says), Harry and his archrival Draco Malfoy end up "together." Myr has an immense imagination that will have you thinking this is actually a HP book. Draco knew about Corpus Inflammare, the spell that killed Voldemort, Draco had saved Dean Thomas from Greyback, Draco had endured ... well, you'll have to read the story to find out. But when your name is Harry Potter the chances of that are very slim. A series of vignettes chronicling Harry's final six months at Hogwarts. Exams, friends, lovers, Quidditch, the war and Draco all conspire to make the year end seem a very long way away. When Draco decides to go skiing, he doesn't plan on spending the night away from Hogwarts, but then it starts snowing again. Draco suddenly finds himself the victim of exposure ... but there's a cabin up ahead ... a cabin which has a sole occupant ... a sole occupant to save Draco's life ... Storming out, Draco heads for a bar to get drunk and to chase the first skirt he sees. He dosen't have to wait long and zeros in on his prey. Nathalie, at first blows him off, but listens to his story about Pansy. Then Draco gets to meet Natalie's roommate, Harry Potter. Having no where else to go, Draco finally agrees with a very convincing Natalie and a very protesting Harry, to go home with them. Things just get interesting from there. It's a really good read! "Rich bastard." "Shut up, Potter." "You shut up," the other man scowled, looking away. Draco scoffed. "Merlin, that was weak. All these years without me dulled your wits that much? Of course, that's not to say you had many to start, but you should be glad I'm back." He might not really like Harry's company, but taunting him felt more normal than most things did. "Just shut up. I don't like you, and I don't want you in my flat." Harry glared at Draco, then ordered himself a pint, draining it almost immediately. You're gonna love the story! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Last Updated: March 18, 2008 - Chapter 33 "Looking Up" The war is over and Harry Potter has won. The Dark Lord is dead, but so is everyone else that Harry cared about. He stands in the middle of the battlefield surrounded by bodies. But then Harry sees someone that would most likely end his suffering of loss and of his life ... Nagini, Lord Voldemort's snake. Harry learns the snake was under Voldemort's Imperious curse. Then Fawkes shows up and offers to transport Harry to a parallel universe before the war began. With a second chance to "get it right." Harry agrees, but Nagini wants to go too. She's pissed that Voldemort used her. And away we go on a wonderful tale. You will certainly enjoy this story! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Last Updated: February 27, 2007 - Chapter 8 "Cock Tease" Draco Malfoy, on a mission for the dark lord, breaks into the Ministry of Magic but is caught. Trapped in The Time Room, Draco is frantic as the Aurors pound on the door. He is holding a very heavy hourglass and loses his footing. Crashing to the floor, Draco lands on the hourglass, smashing it to bits. The next thing Draco realizes is that he has been transported to the future ... a future where his lover is none other than The Boy Who Lived.
