Tuesday, December 23, 2003 - NEW Chapter and NEW Suggested Reading
Just in time for the holidays, the latest installment of The Nineteenth Year is now available. Enjoy and be sure to let me know what you think!
The Suggested Reading page has been updated with another great story. Several on going stories have been updated with new chapters as well. Check it out!

Monday, December 15, 2003 - MORE on Suggested Reading

Note: Thanks to Quartzie from Prague for correcting me on the date      TWO ongoing stories have captured the Writer's attention! First, there's "Perry and Jesse" by Under The Hoodster and second there's "The Way You Say My Name" by Sara. BOTH of these stories are very captivating!
"Perry and Jesse" is currently dealing with "Cage Fights." Perry believes that Jesse, being poor and constantly in need of cash, is participating in one of these illegal fights to earn money. On a mission to save Jesse from physical harm, Perry finds himself telling lie after lie to get into the room to find the love of his life. The results of his lying, combined with his really cute appearance, could possible put Perry where he really doesn't want to be. And all this is based on a hunch, yeah, a hunch that Jesse is fighting. It's a MUST READ!
And then there's Sara and her story "The Way You Say My Name." LOL! A friend of mine told me today that she should be shot on sight! He went on to say that she's too GOOD to just be posting on the Net. I'll have to agree. Her story will have you ready to drive your fist through your monitor because YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! Sara's story continues to make me check the CRVBOY site EVERYDAY!

Sunday, December 14, 2003 - Suggested Reading Update
Hummm, let's see. There's a new Bricks and Musings entry and a newly designed and updated Suggested Reading page along with some new recommendations. Chapter 8 of The Nineteen Year is just about finshed.

Saturday, November 1, 2003 - Site Updates
Several pages have been updated incuding the links page. There are still a few links to lead to a construction notice, but rest assured, I'me working on those pages as fast as I can. There are literally thousands of gay related sites out there and I've tried to weed through a few of them and recommend ones I think will be hellpful, enjoyable, informative, etc. If you know of a site that's not on my list, drop me an email. I'll check it out.
Work continues on The Nineteenth Year and I hope to have chapter 8 out this coming week. I just need to make time to do it.
I posted Halloween Reunion on The Nifty Archive and at Gay Authors and have received some very flattering emails. Thanks. I was good to hear from people I haven't heard from in awhile. If you haven't done so, please drop me a line.
Speaking of dropping me a line, I'm working to construct a comments page so all you have to do is type your message and hit the send button. Damn, html code can be confusing at times. In the mean time, you can send your comments to The Writer

Monday, October 13, 2003 - New Suggested Story
Several stories have caught my eye and I'll be posting my recommendations shortly. I wanted to start with "Perry and Jesse" by The Hoodster. Don't forget all the titles in Suggested Reading are listing in alphabetical order, but the really new ones have the "NEW" animated gif beside the title. Oh, and I've been on the soapbox a bit lately, so be sure to visit Bricks and Musings.
I've been extremely busy and somedays find it hard to drag myself out of bed. The remodeling is just about finished and "the move" is rapidly approaching. So I work during the day and I paint at night. I hate painting! Somewhere in between getting out of bed and climbing back in, I'm trying to find time to write. It's been difficult, but I'm about half way through Chapter 8 of The Nineteenth Year, or "NY" as a lot of you refer to it ... hehe. Progress continues, but there are a lot of physical descriptions of places I've either never been to before, or it's been so long ago that I can't remember. Luckily, I have several wonderful friends that are giving me a hand.

Friday, September 26, 2003 - Ed the Editor Passed Away
Ed the Editor, 81, who lived just a few miles from me, passed away on Friday, September 19th. I had just received Chapter 7 of The Nineteenth Year back from him the day before. His death was unexpected, according to his son, but evidently he passed peacefully. Ed edited many of the works listed in Suggested Reading, including Alone With Myself, Mists of Fate, Jagged Angel and many, many more. His generous gift of time to edit the works of many on-line amateur writers is most appreciated. I am honored to have known him the short time that I did.

Saturday, September 20, 2003 - New Chapter and New Formatting
The 7th Chapter of The Nineteenth Year has been posted. It's titled "Planes, Trains and Automobiles." All of the chapters have been reformatted. I hope you'll find them easier to read. Lemme know. Work continues on Chapter 8, entitled "The Electric Camel." Thanks for all the emails! Enjoy!

Welcome! Thanks for visiting! I hope you find the site to be entertainment and useful. If you don't see something that you would like to see, lemme know, K?

Tuesday, August 19, 2003 - Site Updates
The Links Page is now up. I'm still going to be adding more and more to it, but for now, it's up and running. Work continues on Chapter 6 of The Nineteenth Year. It's a matter of time right now. Most of my time is devoted to finishing up the basement construction. I'm down there every night pulling Cat 5 cables, electric cables, phone lines, cable TV lines, hanging light fixtures, etc etc etc. Jeff and I should be able to move in within three weeks, four at the max. I'm trying to get finished with the wiring before the sheetrock crew shows up. Wish me luck!

The 5th Chapter of The Nineteenth Year has been posted. It's titled "Agreant." Let me know how you think the story is progressing. Enjoy!

The new title of the latest story is "The Nineteenth Year." Chapter Two has been completed and Chapter One received a bit of a rewrite. Check it out and be sure to let me know what you think.
By the way, if you haven't visited Bricks and Musings, you should. You'll learn a lot about what's going on in the writer's life. There's a new addition in Suggested Reading too. The Links Page is still under construction.

Wednesday, April 16, 2003 - Sad News
Word reached me today that Justin Case was killed in a car wreck on April 13th. Justin was a proflic writer and posted regularly on the Nifty Archive. His website is a testament to the incredible work this talented man did. Some of you will no doubtedly recall some of Justin's writings ... I'm So Alone, Justin's Story, Life on the Farm and many more. Justin was an incredible person and will be missed terribly! My heart goes out to all who knew him and those that will get to know him through his writings.

I just completed a pretty major overhaul of the site. You'll find Suggested Reading has been moved and a warning page added. I've also posted the beginning of two new stories.
