EXTERNAL LINKS I am proud to suggest good reading and I do that by providing links to other sites. Even though I have written stories myself, I am not so egotistical as to think you are here just to read my works (but I'd like it if you did, wink, wink). I learned early on that there are many, many talented writers "out there" that need to be recognized and suggested. That's why you will find an extensive list of stories on this site that I found to be profound, entertaining, exhilarating and down right good reading. So feel free to look around and fine something to your liking. DO TAKE NOTE though, some sites will require you to register before allowing you access. I have tried to indicate these sites on my recommended reading pages, but there are probably a whole lot of exceptions ... which means, don't be surprised if you suddenly find you have to register on a site to read a story. I have not had a problem with any of these sites.
JUST SO YOU KNOW Every single story recommendation on this site has been personally read by me. I make recommendations according to my own criteria. I do; however, accept recommendations from you, but before they are considered for addition to the recommendations on this site, I will read them first. It has taken the better part of seven years to gather the stories I recommend. There are a lot and they vary quite a bit too. Some will make you laugh. Some will make you cry. Some will make you think. And some will do all that and more. I enjoyed every single one of them and have read some multiple times. From time to time I will recomend a story that is not gay. These recommendations are not made lightly. As this site primarily recommends gay orientated stories, I find myself recommending stories that are not gay, but are so well written that I could not pass up the opportunity to share them with you. So, just so you know, I will occasionally recommend stories that are not gay. Of course, I'll pre-warn you. I will not recommend stories that are primarily heterosexual, but only non-gay stories that really intrigued me. Please feel free to suggest a story or stories that you enjoyed. My short list is getting longer and I am slowly working my way through it, but there is always room for more. Thank you in advance for sharing! |

JUST FINISHED READING "Dearest Harry - Eileen's Story" by Quill Lumos (Lucie) Harry Potter FanFic HP/DM 52 Chapters with an Epilogue 175936 Words Completed 17 October 2007 Author Summary: Snape is on the run, persued by everyone, hated by all. All that is except his mother and one day she calls her son to her house because she has something to tell him, a secret she has never shared. Until now..... "Something's Started" by Aquila_Star 47 Chapters and an Epilogue The war is over and a new school year has begun. Can Harry and Draco begin anew as well? "Parity Transformations" by Suki Blue 21 Chapters Eleven years since he ran from Hogwarts and seven years since the end of the war, Draco has moved on. Now in his late twenties, Draco lives a reclusive life in a tiny village in Hampshire. Never in a million years does he expect to cross paths with Harry Potter again. But he does, and there are two, rather small and rather excitable, complications. GREAT LINES! This was a nightmare, right? Just some horrible nightmare. I'll wake up tomorrow, and I'll be on the playground with my friends, checking out the cheerleaders by the fence, and I'll tell them, "Guess what? I had this weird fucking dream that I was a fag!" And then we'd all laugh out loud and throw rocks at the REAL freaks at school. That's what it is, right? Just a dream? I tried over and over to drive the word 'gay' from my brain, but it wouldn't leave. It stood it's ground, staring me right in the face, and now that it had become a reality, it wasn't ever going away. Not ever. So I did the only thing I could do...I sat there on the floor, leaning up against the couch, stripped down to the socks, alone, and cried my eyes out for what must have been an hour or more. I poured my soul into every tear until I just didn't have any left. Until my throat ached and my cheeks burned. I hated myself so much that I just wanted to die. Right then and there. I'm...I'm...GAY! I can't understand why? I just want to know WHY!!! I can't believe that I was going to be forced to live the rest of my life as a queer. Hated and spit on and teased and beaten up, until the day that I died. No family, no love, no respect, nothing. I've evidently wasted this life already at 14, why don't I just throw myself off the roof and end it now? THAT'S my choice now. 60 or 70 more years of being alone and miserable, or a 10 minute walk to find a building high enough to jump off of. You tell ME which one makes more sense. "On the Outside" is a story only Comicality could tell ... and with all his stories, you'll be amazed. Comsie is truly a master storyteller. |
